Minneapolis, MN – November 1, 2006 – Knights Software Solutions, Inc., launches as a separate company from Borealis Communications, LLC to concentrate on the general home inspection market. The home inspection industries most popular software started its beginnings over 10 years ago as one of the first home inspection software solutions to be used on a handheld device. Knights Software Solutions will continue to improve this state-of-the-art software and integrate newer features requested by the home inspection industry as well as introduce new companion products that complement the home inspection/data collection software.

The first released product called InspectMate allows home inspectors to efficiently and flexibly inspect a home room by room with a PocketPC handheld or a Tablet PC as they are doing their inspection. The inspector can produce the final report as a customized narrative format without having to re-key data back at the office or on a laptop. InspectMate will let you complete your inspection quickly, accurately, with a minimal need for entering new information. Print either a Summary Report or a complete Inspection Report on site or in the office including pictures.

The home inspection software solution also includes a utility application called LibraryEditor which gives inspectors the ability to create or modify templates to collect virtually any kind of data. InspectMate is a completely data driven system.

The biggest difference between the InspectMate software and other home inspection software is that the software is TRUE INSPECTION SOFTWARE and not just REPORTING SOFTWARE, this means the software is meant to be used AS you are doing your inspection and not AFTER the inspection eliminating the need to reenter your inspection data.
